The smartest thing I've ever learned is that I don't have all the answers
What a beautiful truth. God doesn’t call us to figure everything out. He simply calls us to trust that he will. His Grace is so big and his love is so immense. Our humanity tells us to do something, anything to find the answers to the questions we have. The importance of being present in every situation is swept under the rug so often. But God will not simply make us content, if we are willing, he will give us joy in our uncertainty and strengthen our relationship with him along the way.
It’s not about being ok and allowing God to work in that. It’s about being truly joyful, and out of that, no matter what the answer is to our questions, we will be able to understand and take heed in the context of God’s perfect plan. Being still and waiting on God is not an easy task, but it is one that is worth it. God is able and willing to redeem and heal anything. In fruitfulness, we are able to see the product of our faithfulness and appreciate the answer (whether positive or negative) that much more.
